For my birthday, my boyfriend posted me on a secondhand site as “curvy and high libido,” a joke for his friends. They ruined my life with lies and nearly destroyed my family’s company. I was drowning—until his best friend handed me a year’s worth of evidence and said he came back to save me. Now, the real revenge begins. But who is he, really?
On my birthday, I received the most special gift from my boyfriend.
A transfer agreement posted on a secondhand website.
"Girlfriend has a curvy figure, gentle and caring, high libido. Currently up for transfer. DM if interested."
Accompanying the post was a photo of me in a revealing outfit.
As I scrolled through the vulgar comments, I suddenly remembered the day he defended his childhood friend, Isabella.
"She's a girl. How could you joke about her like that?"
She’s a girl. So, what am I?
"Damn, she’s hot. Wonder how she is in bed."
"Ten rounds a night—think that’ll be enough for her?"
"Need me to help you out, bro?"
When I pushed open the private room door, I heard Liam and his buddies taking turns reading those disgusting comments aloud.
Isabella was in the middle of them, giggling behind her hand.
"Oh? Is that Evelyn?"
Her sickly sweet voice dripped with provocation.
Liam’s head snapped up, panic flashing in his eyes when he met my gaze.
"Evelyn—"
Before he could finish, Isabella looped her arm through his. "Oh, don’t worry. Evelyn’s generous. She won’t get mad."
Then she turned to me with fake innocence. "Evelyn, we were just playing Truth or Dare. Don’t take it seriously! It was all a joke. My bad for suggesting it."
"A joke? Using my photo for vulgar jokes?"
My expression darkened as I glared at Liam.
Because that transfer post had been posted from his account.
A flicker of fear crossed Liam’s face, but Isabella cut in. "Evelyn, don’t blame us! It’s not like we wrote those comments!"
She pouted, as if I were the one bullying her.
"Liam, if Evelyn can’t take a joke, just delete the post. Your pride isn’t worth more than her."
