Love by Luck (Short stories)

A man wearing black pants and black shirt was walking in a long corridor. He had a frown on his forehead but his expressions were neutral. A lot of men wearing black were following him silently.

The man was Gerrad Brook who was thirty years old and was known mafia king of the country.

A woman in her forties came out of a room and welcomed him with a hostile smile even though she was trembling.

"Sir, it's a surprise to see you here. I am sure we can serve you bett...."

Gerrad lifted his hand and stopped her from saying anything.

"Did you find the girl?" He asked her in emotionless voice while the woman nervously laughed.

"Sir, how can we find her when we...."

"So, you didn't." He walked inside while the woman quickly followed him but she didn't forget to curse him in her mind.

So the thing happened in the morning. The orphanage wasn't actually a nice place. They will train orphan girls since their childhood to be a lady like and submissive and later they will sold them to those mafia men and politicians.

But still there was two rules, one they will only provide a girl once she is eighteen and second they will never abuse them.

Now the event that happened earlier was when Gerrad's brother forced him to find a girl for himself.

But when he talked to the girl on phone she said such words to him which he never heard in his life before. The girl cut the call before he could know who she was and now he was in the orphanage looking for her.

The administrator of the orphanage was living in a life of fear not knowing how to explain to him that she know nothing about the person he was talking about.

Gerrad sat on the chair and crossed his leg on other.

"I want her." He glared at her who wanted to cry but didn't do it.

"What about I show you the pictures of all the girls?" She tried to smile.

"You all are worse than animals. How can you allow yourself to be sold to some old fat man and ...." Tina shouted at the girls who was getting ready for tonight's ceremony so they can get selected.

"Relax." A girl came near her mad patted her shoulder. She smiled innocently."But they are rich and we can live happily eating whatever we want."

Tina looked at her with disbelief. Sally was the most beautiful girl among them but she haven't turned eighteen yet. Tina shook her head and pushed her hand away.

"You need to worry about yourself first. There is a line of hungry lions to devour you."
