When my boyfriend joked about swapping partners with our roommate, I laughed—until they pinned me down together. I fled at 3 AM. Next morning, our apartment was emptied, my mother’s jade bracelet gone. Now police handcuff him at the airport... but his smirk says this game isn’t over.
I was a recent college graduate, sharing a two-bedroom apartment with my best friend to save money.
But one unexpected incident plunged both couples into an abyss from which we could never escape…
Last weekend, I had just finished showering and was about to get dressed when my boyfriend suddenly pinned me down on the bed. "Baby, your body keeps getting hotter."
"Stop it." I tried to push him away. "The door's still open. What if someone sees?"
"Let them look. It's not like they're strangers..." He pulled me into his arms and kissed me until my head spun.
It wasn’t until much later that I noticed a figure standing in the doorway.
It was Ryan Lowell, my boyfriend’s best friend.
Leaning against the doorframe, his eyes raked over my nearly bare body. "Not just slim, but with those perfect back dimples too."
"Get out of here. Haven’t you seen enough of your own girlfriend?" Though it wasn’t the first time Ryan had seen me like this, I still buried myself in my boyfriend’s arms, shielding myself from his gaze.
I had meant to close the door before getting dressed.
But Ryan wouldn’t leave, and I couldn’t exactly walk over naked to shut it. So I grabbed the skirt from the bed and pulled it on.
When I glanced back, Ryan was still staring shamelessly.
"Still looking? Can’t tear your eyes away?"
"Why would I want to?" Ryan laughed.
"Pervert. I’ll tell Sophia not to let you in bed tonight." I shot him a glare and adjusted my clothes.
Then my boyfriend got handsy again, his fingers trailing over my skin. "If Sophia locks him out, he can just sleep with us. A body like yours shouldn’t be enjoyed alone."
"Disgusting. Are you seriously offering to share me?"
