Chapter 1 No Entry for Penelope Sullivan

It was a day of heavy snow.

Penelope Sullivan covered her belly, which was aching densely and badly. A few times, Penelope almost fell to the ground in pain. But she knocked stubbornly on the door of the villa in Silverybay Estates.

"Zack, can you lend me 80 thousand dollars? Ethan is your son! He needs surgery, or he will die. Zack, please save Ethan."

The pain was getting more and more severe. Penelope couldn't help but quiver. She tried to straighten up her back but curled up in pain.

Advanced gastric cancer was tough.

Penelope gritted her teeth and kept knocking on the closed door in front of her.

"Zack, please. I'll do anything as long as you lend me the money. Zack, please..."

Bang!

The door was suddenly pushed open. Penelope's dim eyes suddenly brightened.

"Zack agreed to meet me, didn't he?"

The butler of the villa came out. He hung a plate on the door coldly and then locked the door cruelly.

Seeing the words on the plate, Penelope staggered. Tears fell down.

The plate said, "No Entry for Penelope Sullivan."

Penelope let out a snort.

She cried and laughed. Penelope knew that Zackary Spencer hated her and was disgusted with her.

Zackary believed that Penelope was an evil woman. He thought that four years ago, because he was poor, Penelope had an abortion to kill their baby, broke up with him, and let someone break his legs so that she could marry into the Hunter family, a rich family.

But it wasn't true.

Zackary didn't believe Penelope's explanation.

The wind and snow grew stronger. It was bone-chilling. Penelope couldn't tell which was colder, her body or her heart.

A few fallen leaves stuck to her right arm. Penelope wanted to raise her left hand and brush off these leaves. But she couldn't. Penelope suddenly remembered that she couldn't move her left hand.

During the four years when Penelope was imprisoned by Lola Hilliard and Ralph Hunter, her left arm was disabled.

Zackary would never know what Penelope had gone through during the four years. Sometimes, Penelope couldn't even think about it. Because it would bring her back to hell and make her lose hope.

Three days later, Penelope finally saw Zackary.

They were husband and wife. But Zackary treated Penelope more like a whore.

He let her stay in a little apartment in Horse House.

Horse, whores...

How vivid.

It was usually difficult for Penelope to meet Zackary. Zackary only came to Horse House when he wanted to torture Penelope and trample her dignity.

And now, forced by Zackary, Penelope was on her knees. Zackary looked as fierce as a devil.

"Lola..."

After sex, Zackary threw Penelope on the ground violently and slightly collected his clothes. He wore a straight suit and looked noble.

There was no more lust in his eyes. Instead, there was ice and indifference.
