Summary I pulled my hoodie over my head as I watched the sky slowly turning grey. I wanted to hide my auburn hair inside my jacket but then I realized that my house was just a few blocks away. Leaves were swirling off the ground. My heart was starting to race in my rib cage. A frown formed on my face when I felt a lump in my throat. What was happening? The bad feeling that I was getting, was getting more intense. I stopped, then took a deep breath. I let my blue eyes analyze the area that I was. There was the bridge that I usually cross everyday. The place was desert. Not a single soul. Then why was I feeling that way? I pulled my hoodie over my head as I watched the sky slowly turning grey. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I had to help them. I slowly felt my feet rising off the ground as I used my powers to slowly levitate over the car. Don't be surprise. You'll understand later. I slowly levitate myself to the bank of the river. I watched my eyes in the water and i could noticed that they went bright blue. That's what would happen when i would make use of my powers. I stood there, trying to figure something out. Hands were tapping and crashing against the windows of the car while numerous 'help!' was heard as the car sank even deeper. I rose my hands towards the car, then took a deep breath.
"Resurgemus" I whispered in Latin. The car rose from the water slowly as I knew that I haven't developed my powers quite well. I knew that I didn't concentrate well, the car will again finish its course in the river. I moved it in my direction and when it was finally over the ground, where i knew it was safe, I made sure it was placed there. I could feel myself weaken. I took a deep breath. My knees were shaking but I was alright. I looked into the car to make sure that everyone was safe.
"Holy fuck!" I heard someone shout. My eyes met theirs. There, in the car, were four people. Two of them, were unconscious while the two in the backseat were staring at me as if they saw a ghost.
Well, I understand them.
"Can you check if they are okay?" I asked while rolling my eyes as I made my way to where they were. I quickly heard their heartbeats.
No deaths. That's good.
"I think they're just unconscious" The teen girl mumbled to the blond girl who was sitting next to her. But the other girl seemed to be more intrigued by me rather than the people who were in the car. I huffed in annoyance.
"What are you?" she asked in total fascination. I rolled my eyes again.
Humans could be puzzles at times.
"What are you?" I asked back, trying to confuse her as I checked whether the two unconscious people were not bleeding. When I realized that they were not, I took a few steps backwards the looked at my shoes that were not muddy. "Great" I mumbled to myself. I rose my head to look at the girl, who definitely looked confused. "Don't overthink it" I chuckled, knowing what was coming next for them. They were not going to remember anything.
"But what are you?" she repeated, seeming more mesmerized every time i would talk even more. I smirked. I slide my hoodie off, letting my long auburn hair getting drenched by the rain.
"Enchantress" I whispered and watched as their eyes opened in amazement.
